Appendix A: House Rules Dae Empire CRD

This is a collection of the house rules or differences from the rules-as-written.

  1. Not using alignment languages.
  2. Quick Equipment alternative.
  3. Item-based Encumbrance. AKA slot-based.
  4. Hazard Die will be used for exploration, replacing various other checks.
  5. Abstracted Wilderness Adventuring for a hex crawl using Hazard Die for checks.
  6. Downtime using a Haven Turn with Hazard Die for in-between adventures.
  7. Holmes Scroll Scribing
  8. Infravision works from moons, so it won't work away from the wilderness (e.g. underground, in buildings) or on new moons (check the calendar).
  9. Waterskins hold 3 units of liquid, similar to a bundle of item-based encumbrance.
